Hey, this is around the corner from my house, on Admiral. One day last summer i was walking up Admiral from Lowther - and there was this security guard standing on the sidewalk, casually. So looked to see what he was guarding and there was Germany House, just also around the corner from Margaret Atwood's place. There are no angry birds on her house - but there are nice solar panels on the roof.

What happened to this place? is what I want to know. How comee the doors/windows be boarded up?

Pink Tacky Sweater:The Blog!-- I'm all over that shiz.

This blog is becoming extremely solipsistic. This is not how it was advertised a few weeks ago when i was told "go check this blog" by somebody.

Is it because of the dog photos? Cause I have to say, I was too busy the last few weeks to write a thing, and I figured dog photos were better than nothing. Or was it cause of Curb Your Tude? That's a pretty good show, and a lot of people I know can't watch it because they don't have "special" cable, so I just thought I'd tell them. Or was it because I raved about Destroyer? Destroyer is good! Or, wait, cause I likened Stephen Harper to a cupie doll? Is that solipsistic? Or because I find Jack layton didactic? Maybe it's because I compared Eternal Sunshine to Ali: Fear Eats the Soul? Who would ever know what the hell I was getting at with that, I know. That was maybe a weird thing to do. But they're both about relationships, about two people who come together, and get to know each other, and then end up, in one way or another, for varying reasons, deciding that their connection hasn't been good for them in some way. One of them makes you think about how small and sick people are, and if you are one of the small and sick, it shames and humiliates you for being such. The other, in my mind, is great entertainment and not much more. Or, hey! wait a second, is it because I posted a photo of the German consolate? I just was walking by it, and I saw all the windows were boarded up, and I didn't know what had happened. That was the day that someone spray-painted jew=Swastika on someone's door in little israel, which was front page news, and I wondered if there was a connection. That's not solipsistic, is it? Shit - I think it's probably because this is a strange fear of mine being realized. You've come to my site for the first time during what I would term a period of down-time. Therefore, see, you've got a weird idea of what the ÿ/blog experience is all about. I posted a picture of cabbagetown, and I posted a picture of a woman I'm crazy about right now, because I'm just feeling whimsical lately, you know? For a long time, i was terrified of saying anything that wasn't pertinent to people who didn't know me, but I'm getting more into just saying whatever, and if it doesn't interest, sorry. I really like having you around tho, Spancan. I'll try and be more, er, whatever the opposite of that 4 syllable daisy-cutter you launched at me is.
